Buckey Stockwell is one of Canada's leading quarterhorse trainers. A perennial Canadian leading trainer he also has had a good deal of success in the U.S. He has trained many champion quarterhorses as well winning with thoroughbreds wherever he competes.

His success is owed in part to his hands on approach and he has bred many champion as well.

Buckey races thorough out the Pacific Northwest including Alberta and has a new twenty horse winter barn at Horsemen's Park, Tularosa, New Mexico. The training centre is within a few hours of five different race tracks.

Pegusas Quarter Horses is located at Tula Rosa, New Mexico.
